International Chinese Medicine Cultural Festival 2018 Beijing/Hong Kong

The 2nd International Chinese Medicine Cultural Festival inaugurated for the first time in mainland China with more than 400 esteemed guests attended both the opening ceremony held at Beijing and Hong Kong. Apart from gratitude for all who shown support for the festival, ICMCF hopes to rejuvenate Traditional Chinese Medicine as a culture by presenting through art reaching various echelon of audiences.

“Pictorial Scenes of Chinese Medicine” Visual Art Gallery Exhibition fused with installations, photography and interactive experiential activities roamed in Beijing and Hong Kong respectively. The exhibitions were very well received by all as the concept of the very complex Chinese Medicine Culture were transformed into easy to understand three dimensional elements like motions, images and sound, allowing all especially the younger audiences to learn more about Chinese Medicine as a culture enhancing their sense of recognition of this amazing treasure.

”Chinese Medicine Without Boundaries”

The documentary film ”Chinese Medicine Without Boundaries” was premiered as the kick off event for the opening ceremony of ICMCF in Hong Kong. We had invited many enthusiastic voluntary young Chinese medicine practitioners from the Mainland, Hong Kong and Australia to visits remote villages in Myanmar, Nepal and the Philippines provided free medical consultations to the needed as well as exploration of the local development of Chinese Medicine.

International Chinese Medicine Cultural Festival is not just a series of events but a belief and a mission. We strive to promote Chinese medicine as a culture by rejuvenating, globalising and generalising its concept with aim to achieve the vision of “Medicine without boundary”.
